 Buffalo Skull Low Moose(Custom Made cowboy saddle) Every once in a while, I build a saddle for myself; they inevitably end up getting sold, as was the case with this Low Moose....it has a combo stamp, exposed stirrup leathers, inlaid padded seat and a 7/8 flat plate rigging. All of the hardware is brass, to match the brass-bound 1" oxbows. I used Herman Oak's chestnut skirting leather, and tooled in a buffalo skull on the wood post horn. Need a little more information? |

I enjoy building fancy full floral tooled handmade saddles, but find just as much enjoyment in building a "Plain Jane" roughout saddle. I simply like to build cowboy saddles for people who will "put them to the test."
