 Low Moose(Cowboy Saddle) I built this saddle for a benefit raffle that our family does for the Make a Wish Foundation...we donate a handmade saddle and it is raffled off at Christmas time at our local RCC Western store...kind of fun because I get to build whatever I want, and all the proceeds go to a great cause. It's on a 16" rawhide covered wooden tree from Sonny Felkens at Quality Mfg., has a swept back and undercut 14" fork, big 4 1/2" wood post horn and a 5" cantle. All done in solid brass hardware, #1 Herman Oak skirting, combo tooled with a 4 button loop seat thrown in just for kicks. Need a little more information? |

I enjoy building fancy full floral tooled handmade saddles, but find just as much enjoyment in building a "Plain Jane" roughout saddle. I simply like to build cowboy saddles for people who will "put them to the test."
