 Roughout Modified Low Moose(Custom Made cowboy saddle) I really enjoy building fully tooled handmade saddles, but as time goes on, I seem to enjoy even more the challenge of building something that is completely devoid of any tooling...it really brings the craftsmanship aspect to the forefront, I think...with no tooling to distract , the symmetry and lines of a Western saddle can sometimes be a real "work of art". I (kind of) designed this tree myself, by modifying a Low Moose/ Arizona type front end and adding a wood post horn and a high cantle...it's just a good usin' saddle, rigged 7/8, all roughout, with round skirts and a baby Cheyenne roll. I try to have one of these cowboy saddles on hand, but they don't stick around too long. Need a little more information? |

I enjoy building fancy full floral tooled handmade saddles, but find just as much enjoyment in building a "Plain Jane" roughout saddle. I simply like to build cowboy saddles for people who will "put them to the test."
